Isabel completed her LLB degree at Stellenbosch University, where she developed a strong interest in corporate and commercial law, environmental law, and international law. Throughout her studies, she was actively involved in student leadership, serving in several leadership and representative roles that strengthened her skills in communication, collaboration and governance.

Now a Candidate Attorney at Werth & Partner Inc., Isabel is gaining valuable experience across a broad range of legal disciplines, including corporate and commercial law, contract drafting, regulatory compliance and litigation support. Through her work at the firm, she has developed a particular interest in immigration law and enjoys assisting both local and international clients with cross-border legal matters. Ross hat einen Bachelor of Arts in Rechtswissenschaften (BA) und zwei Aufbaustudiengänge an der Universität Pretoria absolviert: einen Bachelor of Laws (LLB) und einen Honours Degree in Geschichte.

Als Associate hat Ross Erfahrung in den Bereichen Gesellschafts- und Handelsrecht, Fusionen und Übernahmen (M&A), Vertragsgestaltung, Arbeitsrecht und Zivilprozessrecht gesammelt. Er erwarb einen Bachelor of Arts in Englisch und Recht sowie einen Postgraduiertenabschluss Bachelor of Laws (LLB) an der University of the Witwatersrand.

Nicky Swanepoel

Corporate Compliance Specialist

Nicky Swanepoel begann 1997 ihre Laufbahn im Bereich der gesetzlichen Compliance, als sie als Junior-Mitarbeiterin in die Statutory Department der Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Horwath Leveton Boner (heute Crowe JHB) eintrat. 2010 wurde sie zur Leiterin der Abteilung befördert.

Nach 26 Jahren im Unternehmen ging Nicky 2023 in den Ruhestand – eine Auszeit, die nur wenige Monate dauerte, bevor sie ihre Tätigkeit auf Beratungsbasis wieder aufnahm. Heute führt sie eine kleine, sehr ausgelastete Praxis und bietet Mandanten fundierte und praxisnahe Unterstützung in allen Fragen der Corporate-Compliance.

Volker Werth

Director

Volker  ist ein  erfahrener Rechtsanwalt mit Expertise im Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht, bei Fusionen und Übernahmen (M&A), Vertragsverhandlungen, Arbeitsrecht, Erneuerbare-Energien und Wirtschaftsstreitigkeiten. Er spricht fließend Deutsch, Englisch und Afrikaans und fungiert als Company Secretary und Public Officer für mehrere multinationale Unternehmen, darunter die Deutsche Auslandshandelskammer für das südliche Afrika (AHK).

Derzeit ist er Geschäftsführer bei InterGest South Africa und Director bei Werth & Partner Inc. Unter seiner Leitung unterstützt InterGest SA ausländische Unternehmen bei der Gründung, Verwaltung und Geschäftsentwicklung in afrikanischen Ländern.

Volker  erwarb zwischen 1990 und 1997 seine B.Proc- und LLB-Abschlüsse an der Rand Afrikaans University und wurde 1998 als Rechtsanwalt zugelassen. Außerdem besitzt er ein Certificate in Transnational Business Law der UNISA.
Zusätzlich ist  er Mitglied im Aufsichtsrat der deutschen Industrie und Handelskammer für das südliche Afrika (AHK), vertritt den Europäischen Senat der Wirtschaft (Berlin) sowie Saarland International im südlichen Afrika und wurde 2021 zum offiziellen Vertreter des Bundesverbands mittelständische Wirtschaft e.V. (BVMW) in Südafrika ernannt.

Nicky Swanepoel

Nicky Swanepoel began her career in statutory compliance in 1997 as a junior in the Statutory Department of the auditing firm Horwath Leveton Boner (now Crowe JHB). Over the years, she built deep expertise in corporate governance and regulatory requirements, earning a promotion to Department Manager in 2010.

After 26 years with the firm, Nicky retired in 2023—but her retirement was short-lived. Within a few months she returned to the field as an independent consultant and now runs a small yet dynamic practice. Drawing on decades of experience, Nicky continues to deliver precise, reliable compliance services to a wide range of clients, ensuring their statutory obligations are met with efficiency and care.

Michael is a seasoned tax specialist with over 15 years’ experience in cross-border structuring, South African exchange control, and corporate advisory services. After starting his career with leading chartered accountancy firms, he has built deep expertise in international and domestic tax planning, compliance, and business valuations. Michael regularly advises on complex corporate legislation and has successfully negotiated and structured numerous mergers, acquisitions, and group reorganisations for clients operating across jurisdictions.

Volker Werth

Experienced legal professional with expertise in Commercial & Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Contract negotiations, Labour Law, Renewable Energy Law and Commercial Litigation. He is fluent in German, English and Afrikaans and serves as Company Secretary and Public officer to several multinational companies including the Southern African German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Currently, he also holds the position of Managing Director at InterGest South Africa

InterGest SA, under his leadership, specialises in assisting foreign companies with business establishment and financial management of subsidiary companies in African countries.

Volker obtained his B.Proc and LLB degrees from Rand Afrikaans University from 1990 to 1997 and was admitted to practice law in 1998. He also holds a Certificate in Transnational Business Law from UNISA.

In addition to his other roles, Volker holds a membership in the Advisory Board of the Southern African German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represents the European Senate of Economy (Berlin) and Saarland International in Southern Africa, and was appointed the official representative of the Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft e.V. (BVMW) in South Africa in 2021.
